The University Area has always been one of Edmonton’s most prestigious areas to live in. The University of Alberta is home to tens of thousands of students and staff from all walks of life. The area is one of the most central locations in Edmonton, and is adjacent to Whitemud Drive and the North Saskatchewan River. One of Edmonton’s real estate hotspots is Saskatchewan Drive, which offers some of the most breathtaking views of the Edmonton Downtown Skyline and River Valley.

Besides the convenience of living close to The University and Downtown, residents especially enjoy the amenities the area has to offer. The Strathcona and Garneau area have the highest concentration of bars, restaurants, cafes and small businesses stationed along Whyte Ave. With all of these great shops, the walkability of this area is one of the biggest reasons why Edmontonians love living in the area.
